 Kokke's heritage

"To me a design is only successful when a balance has been achieved between material, form, and use. However, the user or observer must also be surprised and stimulated. His designs attract attention inevitably, despite—or perhaps precisely because of—their simplicity and self-evidence, eliciting a distinct aesthetic judgment."
